新竹孔廟
Hsinchu Confucius Temple

孔廟建於清嘉慶22年。每年教師節的祭孔大典，地方士紳及機關首長均到場觀禮，為新竹的文化重鎮。日本時期它是新竹市很多學校創校的地方，如新竹女子公學校、建華國中、新竹中學等。民國47年遷建落成於新竹公園內，在廟的前方有一個半月型的泮池，遷建的紀念碑就在廟的左前方。

Hsinchu Confucius Temple was built in the Jiaqing22 year of the Qing Dynasty. Each year on Teacher's Day, a grand Confucian ceremony is held, with local gentries and officials attending, making it a cultural hub in Hsinchu. During the Japanese colonial period, it served as the founding site for many schools in Hsinchu City, including Hsinchu Girls' School, Jianhua Junior High School, and Hsinchu High School. In 1958, the temple was relocated to its current site within Hsinchu Park. A crescent-shaped pond was built in front of the temple, and a monument marking its relocation is positioned to the left front of the temple.
