新竹公園周邊有許多典雅的建築相襯，以及湖畔旁的花草扶疏，林林蒼翠，湖中又有錦鯉弄波，湖面天鵝悠遊嬉戲，令人心曠神怡。106年市府啟動「新竹公園再生計畫」強調自然、綠色、親水，並保留古蹟與老樹，公園景觀回歸原有歷史建築風貌，創造出四季庭園景色，感受潺潺水流聲。

In 2017, the city government launched the "Hsinchu Park Regeneration Project," which emphasizes natural, green, and water-friendly elements while preserving historical landmarks and old trees. The park's landscape has been modified to reflect its historical architectural style, creating a garden that showcases seasonal beauty and allows visitors to enjoy the gentle sound of flowing water.
